Mad Cow Disease (welcome to our family)
I didn't even know i was being the resident downy clowny (you all should've told me sooner, ya know), so I send my pardons to all my wonderf(ool) friends who've been putting up with Smilin' Upside Down Belishabeacon (thanks for supplying the term, Herr Diktatorship!). Now, I have to rethink emostrategies because contrary to my belief I am apparently not so good at concealing divine secrets of triste, oi, please do accept pardons for unknowingly playing the role of Doctor Doomnation herself.
So I implore silent muses and all that shines to write for me, draw, show me lines and shapes and out-of-focus polaroids at the moment when idealism runs low and it's harshly silent in the ol' apartment and I can't find my matches, can't even stop pacing, don't have the heart to blow candles off creamy white custard cakes during uninspired & dry celebratories because I need all the breaths I can muster at the moment; it's your turn, I can't do it myself, and I really need to remember the words.
Mad Cow makes me not so sad. My fat, lazy, orange slice of happiness kitty kat!
The ever-growing group consisting of Belisha, MadCowDisease(my brand-new hostage cat without ransom), Serious Mr. Man and all-time beloved Tristan T.
The Buddha Experiment (Buddha says he's not too happy wtih the translation)
A web-based translation service bears the slogan :
"[Name of site] is an easy-to-use site for rapid translations where you can get the "gist" of foreign language text and web pages."
The experminent is : by taking a Buddha quote ...
"Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it - even if I have said it - unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense."
Translating it to another language, like for example, French, then translating it back to English, the result is :
"Does not believe nothing, do not import where you reads it, or that has says it - even if I has says it - unless it agrees with your clean and your clean." I hope Buddha vehemently lives by his quotation because if I were him I'd be thinking, "No, I don't get the fucking gist, at all !"
Hey, you
I miss you too
what is to be done, indeed ?
Summa summarum : I do not care at all
"...It is quite true what Philosophy says : that Life must be understood backwards. But that makes one forget the other saying : that it must be lived - forwards. The more one ponders this, the more it comes to mean that life in the temporal existence never becomes quite intelligible, precisely because at no moment can I find complete quiet to take the backward-looking position."
It reveals itself
To our dearest pal Kala,
Life Lesson Number One:
If you have to decide, decide, and act. Don't procrastinate or waste time, don't be proud, thinking that the world will stop for you, or you may very well find yourself without choices, without selections, without a palette. And to paint a day ahead, a week ahead, a month, ten, or years, without colour could be very disappointing indeed.
Now you've procrastinated and you're down in the dumps, but you've learned your lesson and what can you do but smile and say "Ola senorita it's okay muy bien life goes on tra la la!"
In any case, believe that what must happen will happen nevertheless. And if missed opportunities seem so hard to swallow, dear Kala, take heart that what you thought would be, wasn't after all.
And that what should, will.
With you all the way to the Land of Liberty, Peace and Love,
serious Mr. Man and Tristan xoxo
PS> after all, it isn't checkmate, yet! *le wink*
92 Marcos cases dismissed ?!
92 Marcos cases dismissed on account of missing documents ?
(You've got to be kidding me...)
That, and a 50-cent increase for every litre of gasoline in the Philippines.
Plus the
Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
I demand an explanation
